Store Coupons!!

So last night we talked about all the different places you can score great coupons. We all know that most of our MFC (manufacturers coupons) come from either SS (Smart Source) RP (Red Plum) or P&G (Proctor & Gamble) inserts found in our local Sunday papers.

But where we can really save big is when we stack a MFC with a store coupon on one item. We can score great store coupons from the following places:

WAGS (Walgreens): Monthly Coupon Booklet- issued each month with tons of store coupons that can be matched with MFC's. (Manufacturer Coupons)

WAGS (Walgreens): Each week there are WAGS store coupons in the ad. Usually located at the bottom of each page.

WAGS (Walgreens): On occasion you can find a booklet similar to the monthly one in the pharmacy/beauty department that has great extra WAGS store coupons.

CVS: The beloved "Magic Coupon Machine"- these are in your local CVS near the register and you simply walk up to the machine, scan your CVS Card and it spits out CVS STORE Coupons that can be matched with MFC's for awesome deals. Remember to scan your card multiple times until the screen reads "No more coupons available, try again tomorrow."

Target: You can go here to print the weeks target store coupons to stack w/ MFC's as well. Make sure to look at your coupons carefully after print, because target will throw in a few MFC's on the website as well which is great, but remember it's one store coupon stacked w/ one MFC not 2 MFC's or 2 Store coupons.

Kroger: The thing I love about Kroger is their electronic coupons. The process is fairly simple: go here to register your Kroger card (you can pick one up at any register or customer service counter if you need to get one) and start adding coupons to your card. The coupons generally take about 15-20 minutes to show on your card in the store so just a general rule of thumb try to add your coupons at least an hour before you hit the store. Also, these are MFC coupons NOT STORE COUPONS. So use them accordingly. The most benefit they have for me is when I am able to stack them with a great sale at Kroger.

HEB: Although HEB does run great specials (especially on their meat) don't be fooled by their yellow coupons all around the store. Most would think that these are store coupons because they are in the store but majority of them are MFC. A general rule of thumb is to always check the bottom of your coupon if you see a "M" "it's a MFC. According to their coupon policy they do have some that are "store coupons" but I visit HEB frequently and have yet to find one. So in other words shop HEB when you find great sales and can stack your MFC along with it!

Walmart: Oh Walmart...we have a love hate relationship. I love your convenience and  the fact that you are one of the only stores who still give cash back when my coupons are more than my purchase. However, I am not a fan of their "sales" that aren't truly sales and the fact that they do not have store coupons. But let's be real they do have some great incentives for couponers: they still price match which can be great if you are trying to consolidate your shopping to one store and according to their coupon policy they DO accept competitors coupons. For instance if you walked into Walmart with your WAGS coupon booklet they will accept those coupons in their store. Also on their website they promote certain items by giving coupons and alot of time free samples: go here to check out what they have today!

Hope this helps you all better understand store vs MFC coupons!

Happy Shopping! =)
